When unlocking the bootloader (SPL), an error appears [207]

This question has been asked many times already (you can find the answer by reading the forum), but if you want to be quick, then use a Nuna XP32 computer, and do everything as written (with pictures) in the FAQ.

I compiled the firmware using build: WM 6.5.5 CE 5.2.23563

I liked the firmware:
GPS works fine, the headset works, and it recognizes both 1GB and 2GB memory cards without any patches. I haven't noticed any lag yet.
The downsides I noticed right away were: image files aren't associated, CorePlayer is needed for video playback, and, of course, the camera doesn't work.

logoserj,
The camera is enabled under Start\Settings\Personal\Camera Driver.
It's disabled by default.
Regarding image associations, go to Start\Media\Resco Photo Manager and voila, choose your own.
With Core Player -_-...

Disabled by default.

There must be a glitch with my device, but the driver finally turned on after the 8th attempt.

Hello, I have a small problem. I accidentally deleted a line from the registry in the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT branch. There was a 3gp branch there and I deleted it. How can I return it without flashing? Maybe someone can dump it completely in one file from the WM 6.5.3 Artemis 28005 v1.4 Lite firmware. Thank you very much in advance!

I got a used HTC P3300 with Windows 5. I want to update the firmware to version 6 and calibrate the battery. What's better to do first: update the firmware or calibrate?

Guys, help me flash my O2 xda Orbit. I can't seem to do the Unlock Bootloader (SPL) feature. SPL version 1.25, WM 5.0, seems official, in English. My computer is Windows XP SP3. I'm trying to flash the SPL, but it reaches 100 percent, then a penguin appears, then a white screen, and the phone immediately disconnects from Microsoft ActiveSync. I understand that Microsoft ActiveSync needs to be connected to update the SPL, but it immediately disconnects. I used this trick to flash HTC -> HTC Artemis / HTC P3300 - Reflashing (Post #3855914). Maybe I need to uncheck some box in Microsoft ActiveSync. Please help! I tried installing the official version, and when I update, Microsoft ActiveSync disconnects and an error occurs!

Then a white screen and the phone immediately disconnects from Microsoft ActiveSync

This is how it should be. RomUpdateUtility should then launch automatically.

It's better to calibrate first, if necessary... And you need to flash the device charged to 100%, so as not to disrupt the calibration...

krank_01 Well, then RomUpdateUtility launches, you click Next, and it tries to connect to the phone. It had previously disconnected from Microsoft ActiveSync, and without it, it's not connected and doesn't want to update, and immediately gets a connection error.

maks.27,
taking into account the modifications, build firmware 6.5.3, like Extralight.
No need for Office, Calculator, Quick GPS, Pocket RAR, or Photo Manager.
I didn't really notice why Romodelers started throwing out Internet Explorer,
File Explorer, and Windows Media Player (there were apparently some certificate issues)
, but replacing them with alternative programs is very encouraging.
It would be nice if the camera actually worked.
The main thing is performance...

I think it's one of the most reliable yungima - I used it for a very long time.

Hi everyone, I installed the firmware on build: WM 6.5.5 CE 5.2.23563 Full. Everything seems to be fine, but my Wi-Fi isn't working and the battery was at 46% in the evening. I woke up in the morning and it was at 1%. How can this be?

I suspect maks.27 messed up the camera driver somehow... It's long been known that not loading the camera driver at all will drain the battery. So, I did it differently in my firmware: first, the camera driver loads normally, and then automatically unloads it using CamLoader (the shortcut is in the "Startup" folder).

Yes, I agree, I'll upload the Lite version without CamLoadera now.
