In all other cases you can use this program in any way you like.

*** Disclaimer ***

Once again: no warranties of any kind are given.
Use at your own risk.
If you brick your device it is your own fault.

*** Info ***

This tool allow to flash your device (HTC PDA) ROM bypassing CID and signature
check. See "For advanced users" for more info.

*** Usage ***

For flashing ROM copy sspl-XXXX.exe (XXXX stands for short device platform name
i.e. TRIN for HTC Trinity) to your device and run it. Standart bootloader prompt
should appear on screen, check SPL version number: if it ends with ".ds" then
everything is fine. (Re)attach usb cable and run firmware update utility.

In case if something goes wrong during flashing you should flash your device
with ROM accepted by standard bootloader (and have another try if you wish).

*** For advanced users ***

In brief this tool simply put device close enough to after-reset state, copy
modified IPL and SPL on their places in RAM and jump to IPL start routine. So
you can do with it everything what you can do with normal SPL running in
service mode. With some additional features:

SuperCID: yes this SPL think that CID is super and radio_level=0 regardless of
actual device CID. But it does not CID or SIM unlock your device permanently.

Unsigned code: code must be formally signed i.e. contain properly-formated
signatures on their places, however no checking are performed against them.
Actualy unsigned code flashing was tested by flashing original signed nbh image
with few bytes in header and extrom section modifyed, but patches were designed
to accept any properly formatted crap as a valid signature (relate both to data
and certificate signatures).

Have more fun: if you wanna play with your own SPL image - specify it in the
command line (can be done via .lnk files) path not leading with / is considered
relative to SSPL-XXXX.exe directory. Don't forget to press buttons (excluding
"reset") needed to enter SPL service mode if your SPL image is not patched to
do it automatically.

*** Where to get ***
Search "SSPL" or "SoftSPL" on forum.xda-developers.com for newer versions and/or
new devices supported.

I do not know where you can find newest firmware, how to SIM-unlock your device,
enable GPS, FM radio, etc.

I have no idea how to unbrick your device even if you think that this f#$king
program was the reason of bricking.

I do my best (while I have nothing more to do) to make this stuff running on all
devices I have access to. So funding for buying brand new XXXXX must be included
in every "I'm (un)happy owner of XXXXX, can you make SSPL for it ?" request.
