I already wrote here a method that helped me to hack the Satio without using Omnius, but it seems that some people may still have difficulties. I will now write in detail and step by step. Hacking Satio, Vivaz and Vivaz Pro completely offline, using only a cable. Based on the method by yan4ik_ru, but using the cracked 4SE instead of Omnius (applicable to SeTool as well). A GDFS backup obtained via 4SE or SeTool slightly differs from backup obtained via Omnius. Thanks 0xSZBNCE for the screenshots with comparisons, it became clear that you should search for “871700000C000000” instead of “0100000C00000001”. So, follow the steps from yan4ik_ru but instead of reading the GDFS via Omnius, running the script and flashing it back: Read GDFS via cracked 4SE. Open ta_misc.bin in any HEX editor. Find “871700000C000000” and replace the next 10 bytes with “45BB854FFA36724C3F6D”. Flash it back. Old: Alright, it is time for reveal, Sony Ericsson hack for Vivaz/Vivaz Pro/Satio. For these hack you will need an inactive SIM card, the phone, computer, Omnius, and USB cable. First of all, you need to dump yours GDFS file. Go to omnius, select your phone, and click on backup TA zone. Turn off completely your phone, press and hold the green button, then connect it to your computer, dump process had be began. After 30 seconds, you have your own dump of GDFS zone. VERY IMPORTANT!!! MAKE A BACKUP FILE FOR YOUR GDFS ZONE!!! I’M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PHONE BRICK!! I HAVE BEEN WARNED YOU. After backup, go to C:\ProgramData\Omnius For SE\Backups, and find your backup. AGAIN!! MAKE DOUBLE COPY OF YOURS FILE, U CAN’T RECOVER IT, IT IS UNIQUE FOR EVERY SE PHONE. After that, open cmd in your computer, drag and drop my script, and write -h, to print the help. You just need to provide the path for yours gdfs file, and the script automatically overwrites needed bytes in your gdfs zone. If you see the message, that yours OPD file was successfully modified, congratulations, you have been on right way. Turn on your phone, set date to 11.04.2012. After that, wait 15 seconds, and turn off completely your phone. Take it apart, and put inactive sim in it. DON’T TURN IT ON!! Last step, is upload your modified GDFS TA ZONE file in your phone. Open the Omnius, select your phone, click on write TA zone, and select modified file. press and hold the green button, then connect it to your computer, write process had be began. If you saw the successful message, congrats, your phone date has been changed to 2012 on system level. Disconnect your cable, and turn on the phone. If you will do all correctly, it will starts up, and everything looks fine. Copy to your SD card patched Norton Antivirus, X-plore, RompatcherPlus. install norton. Open it, go to Quarantine list, recover all that files, close Norton, install Rompatcherplus, activate all patches. Congrats you have been hacked your phone. Info: SE Satio/Vivaz/Vivaz pro record the latest date directly from the sim card and store it in the trim area (it's like nokia's rpl) So when the phone's last recorded date is in the 2020s changing the date wouldn't help even if it was hard resetted or flashed so it's not very possible to hack unless you play around with the trim file and write it back
