Open Settings . Select Connectivity > Wi-Fi and Options > Settings.

To display an indicator when there are Wi-Fi networks available in your location, select Show Wi-Fi availability > Yes.

To set the time interval for your phone to scan for available Wi-Fi networks, select Scan for networks and the desired time.

The scan for networks setting is only available if you select Yes in Show Wi-Fi availability.
