IM conversations

Open IM .

To start a new conversation, select a contact list, tap a contact and select Options > Open conversation.

To continue an ongoing conversation or accept an invitation to a conversation, select Conversations. Tap a conversation or invitation and select Options > Open.

Tip:

To start a new conversation, you can also select Conversations, or tap your own user data, an invitation, a conversation, or a group, and select Options > New conversation.

To send a message, enter your message in the message editing field, and select Options > Send.

To switch to another open conversation or invitation, tap the desired tab.

Select Options and select from the following:

Save — Save a received picture in Media.
Add smiley – Add a smiley to your message.
Automatic find on – Search for text strings in the messages.
Send picture – Select From Pictures or New picture to send a saved or a new picture.
Forward – Forward your message to another IM contact or group.
Add to IM contacts – Add the other party to your IM contacts.
Save conversation – Save a copy of the conversation. The conversation is saved as a text file that can be opened and viewed in the Notes application.
Blocking options – Block messages from the other party or another IM user, or view a list of your blocked IM users.
End conversation – Finish the conversation.
Copying options – Cut, copy, paste, or use other text editing options.
