Open Settings . Select Application manager > Installation settings.

Select from the following:

• Software installation – Select whether to install signed applications only or all applications. This setting only affects the installation of Symbian applications. Java™ applications can always be installed.
• Online certificate check – Check the validity of certificates you are using to install applications. To only install applications that have a valid certificate , select Must be passed. If the validity cannot be verified, the installation is cancelled. To check for certificate validity, select On. Only select Off if you trust the certificate validity.
• Default web address – Define the web address used to check the certificate validity if the certificate does not contain the validity information.
