The alphanumeric keypad lets you enter letters and numbers quickly. The input field in the touch input window shows the position of the cursor. You can also select text for editing in the input field.

The alphanumeric keypad cannot be used to dial phone numbers.

To turn on the alphanumeric keypad, tap any text input field. Tap the input mode icon and then select Alphanumeric keypad.

To add specific characters, select *.

To view options, tap the options icon in the touch input window and select from the following:

• Copy – Copy the selected text.
• Cut – Cut the selected text.
• Paste – Paste the cut or copied text.
• Add symbol – Add special characters.
• Alpha mode or Number mode – Switch between letter and number modes.
• Writing language – Change the writing language.

The available options may vary.

To switch to handwriting recognition, select the Input mode icon.
