Browse the web

Enter the address of a web page and select Go to.

As you enter the address, matching pages previously visited are listed. To open a page, select the address and select Go to.

Note: Use only services you trust and that offer adequate security and protection against harmful software.

To open a web link, double-tap the link.

A fixed toolbar with three icons is available at the bottom of the screen. One of the icons opens a fixed extended toolbar containing extra options.

Select Options and select from the following:

Service options – Define advanced settings for the service.

Downloads – View files you are currently downloading from the web.

Tip:

You can download items, such as ringtones and operator logos, using your browser. To find the downloaded items, open the respective applications. For example, a downloaded photo is saved in Media.

Subscribe to web feeds – Subscribe to feeds available on the web page.
Find keyword – Opens a Find keyword pane.
Settings – Edit the web browser settings.

Select Options > Go to and select from the following:

New web page - Enter a new web address.
Bookmarks - Open the bookmarks view.
Web feeds - Go to the web feed view.
History - See the navigation history of the browsing session.
Homepage - Go to the homepage (if defined in the settings).

Select Options > Web page options and select from the following:

Save as bookmark – Save the current page as a bookmark.
Refresh – Refresh the current page.
Send – Send the address of the current page.
Allow pop-ups or Block pop-ups – Enable or disable the automatic opening of multiple windows.

Select Options > Display options and select from the following:

Fullscreen – View the content in full screen.
Page overview – Open a miniature picture of the current page.
View pictures – See a list of all pictures that are downloaded completely.
Switch window – Open a window selection list. This option is only available when there is more than one window in use.
Page info – View the details of an open page.

Select Options > Clear privacy data and select from the following:

All – Empty the cache and delete cookies, history, adaptive bookmarks and form data, including passwords.
Cache – Empty the temporary memory that saves info about your visits to websites. If you have accessed or tried to access confidential information requiring passwords, empty the cache after each use.

Cookies – Delete the info that the network server collects about your visits to various websites.

Tip:

Cookies are used to retain info when you move between web pages. This info may be misused and you may receive unwanted advertisements on your phone.

History – Erase the list of web pages you have visited.
Form/password data – Delete all info entered on any web forms.
