To connect your phone to a computer using a USB cable

  1. Connect your phone to the computer using a USB cable.
  2. Computer: If you have not already installed Sony Ericsson PC Companion, the Install Sony Ericsson PC software dialog box appears. Click Install to install the necessary software automatically.
  3. In the Portable Device dialog box, select Take no action.

Do not disconnect the USB cable when transferring content as this may corrupt the content.
